Re5 depression treatment is used for patients with moderate to severe depression who have not experienced sufficient effect or have side effects to pharmacological treatment or other first-line treatment.
Indication and follow-up of treatment effect should be organized as usual when starting a medical treatment.
In collaboration with the prescribing physician, the patient's history and current situation are initially reviewed to assess suitability for depression treatment with Re5, including necessary compliance to daily treatment.
The patient is instructed in the use of the Re5 equipment. After prescription and payment for the treatment course, Re5 sends the equipment to the patient.
The course usually lasts for 8 weeks and thus consists of daily stimulation of 30 minutes for 56 consecutive days.
As with pharmacological treatment, the prescribing physician is responsible for the patient throughout the treatment period.
